SAW Heavyweight Championship Match

(chall) Maxx Burton vs. (champ) Drake Evans

This match was dubbed the final encouter and it went back and forth until Franz Roddy hit Burton in the head with the SAW TV Belt.  Drake then hit Burton with the Tiger Driver '98 for the win.

Toxic picks up the win after his valet gives Evans a low blow.

February 24, 2007

Location: Rutalnd, VT (Holiday Inn) (SAW)

Legion "Freakin" Cage & Michael Monroe

                   VS.

Big Vigo & Drake Evans

The match saw Evans & Vigo dominate the match in front of 300 people.  Vigo accidently elbow dropped Evans and Evans accidently dropkicked Vigo.  Evans took over on Monroe and went for a suplex but Monroe blocked and rolled Evans up for the 3 count.

(chall) Michael Monroe vs. (champ) Drake Evans

The match started off with Monroe using his speed to take advantage of Evans.  Evans took over with a hotshot and worked over Monroes neck.  The ref was accidently knocked out when Evans went to hit Monroe with a forearm.  Monroe got 2 close pins.  Evans then went to finish him off but Monroe slipped through and hit Evans with a quick slam and bridge pin to become the new SAW Champion.

(chall) Drake Evans vs. (champ) Michael Monroe

Drake came into the match with revenge on his mind.  He destroyed Monroes neck with a chair.  Drake then went for a chair shot to his head but missed.  The chair bounced off the ropes and hit Drake in the head.  That led to Monroe hitting a DDT on a chair for the win.

Swinger Sidusky vs. Drake Evans

Swinger used his speed in the beginning but it didn't prove to be effective enough as Drake out powered Swinger.  Using the Tiger Driver '98 Drake walked away with the victory.

Maxx Burton vs. Drake Evans w/Joey Eastman

In a classic wrestling contest these two put on a clinic.  Until Drake's manager Joey Eastman distracted Drake and Maxx Burton got the 1-2-3.  After the match to the crowds delight Drake fired Eastman.

Tap Out Rules (No DQ, No CO, No Pins)

Maxx Burton w/Alexzandra vs. Drake Evans w/Joey Eastman

This match was of UFC quality with both guys trying to make each other tap.  Joey Eastman managed to pick up a chair and hit Evans in the knees making it viable for Burton to hook a Regal Stretch and Drake tapped.  After the match Drake extended his hand and Maxx Shook it.  Eastman then proceeded to berate him and then after Evans fired him again he hit Evans in the back of the head.  Evans then nailed him and put him in the modified sharpshooter and the crowd went nuts.
